I Watched The World Cup Final for BTS

Need I say more? (Giggling)

On a serious note, congratulations Spain!

What an incredible experience it has been, the whole world tuning into the same event, held together by joy, sadness, and every emotion in between.

As someone who isn't a die-hard football fan, I still shared one emotional question with everyone else: What's going to happen on the 19th? This date had been engraved in my mind since the announcement.

As it got closer, all the comments kept pointing in one direction, BTS are the reason we're all tuning in, even the funny ones about how nice of BTS to host a game during their own concert.

And then the day finally arrived. Before the match even kicked off, Jung Ho-yeon walked out with Carlos Alcaraz to reveal the trophy inside the famous LV trunk, and I need it on record that she looked gorg doing it.

Watching the clock as the first half was about to end, my heart was racing by the second, especially once those four minutes of stoppage time got added on.

The wait is over, Madonna's iconic entrance with the legends Ronaldo & Ronaldinho, in the whole pink vibe, had me dancing .

I admired the Muppets for a second too, taking in how FAB they looked, and I felt the chills across my whole body because of Dudamel, of course, who else.

Until JK snuck up on me, popping up in his black, white, and red jacket like an extra Christmas gift. Thank you, Santa. I've been a good girl this year.

But it was "Dynamite", FAM, that finally ended my ongoing dilemma. No, it isn't "N°29", it's the one and only "Dynamite". The performance exceeded my expectations and was as smooth as ever.

The fits were not only fitting, they had so many valuable meanings behind them. Overall, every single one of the members looked like the talented, handsome, and rich idol we adore. No comment, honestly, but also a lot.

I will probably never stop talking about how "Everything Hallelujah" got me too emotional, which, I'll admit, I already was. But it hit the nail on the head, it was the perfect sprinkle I needed to not go completely over the top with my already excessive emotions.

At this point, we all wake up to "Dai Dai", no? Is it just me? But Shakira looked every bit the diva she always is. She SERVED (ARMY, please read this in Hoba's voice, you know exactly what I'm talking about).

And just like that, the World Cup wrapped with performances that stayed fully in euphoria mode until the very last second, genuinely unmatched, no notes.

And as a K-pop fan, I can't help but compare it to a concert, the kind that deserves an After the Encore pour of the heart, a core memory that deserves to be written down before it starts to blur, so if you caught the FIFA club world Cup halftime show too, and you're still riding the high, that's your sign.

I need to end this diary entry now, or it's going to turn into a legend.

So I will leave you with this; I sure do believe in love.
